When to visit

The Australes Islands are pleasant year-round. The dry season (April-October) is ideal: mild temperatures, cool breezes, calm seas. From July to October, humpback whales pass through Raivavae's waters.

Life on the island

Raivavae runs at its own pace: few shops, one grocery store, one bakery. Stock up on essentials before you fly. Internet is available at the guesthouse (Wi-Fi).
